Block porn on iPad or iPhone using iOS restrictions and a safe browser
You want your child to use an iPad or iPhone. But what about adult content? Using a combination of iOS restrictions and a safe browser we have found a way to block porn on your child's phone for good. In a nutshell once you follow these steps your childs will:
- will only be able to use the safe browser of your choice (which one you choose is up to you)
- will not be able to install an unsafe browser (like Firefox, Chrome etc - not that they are inherently unsafe, but they are open to porn or adult content)
*Caution: Do not be tempted to use the quick solution where you go to "Websites" under Restrictions & set it to "Limit adult content". We tried this and could still get adult content via a Google image search.
